This exercise was initiated in 1995 and held biennially, and conducted with friendly nations. All editions of Milan had been hosted under the aegis of the Andaman and Nicobar Command and were held in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.🌏

India has invited an aggregate of 46 friendly foreign countries to take part in the multinational naval drill Milan in Visakhapatnam. India's neighborhood & ASEAN member countries like Brunei, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, South Korea, Cambodia, and the member countries of the QUAD (Japan, the US, and Australia), the member nations of AUKUS (the UK, Australia & the US) too, are going to be participating in this drill.⚓
